Reno Silver :Leagacy & Peppermill

Please comment on whether the S.L. still has the small bank of
FPDW/FPKBJW + the 4 freestanding FWDW machines that were there
August, 2003. Does the Pepp still have the small bank of MD/MG
10/6DDB and DoubleAcesFaces? Thanks for your input

When I was at the SL in April they still have the FPDW/FPKBJW.

At Silver Legacy:
there is a bank of ten slant tops near Keno. Eight of them have
FPKBJW. Two of them have FPDW. Quarters.
As the database lists, there are two main floor banks of .25 FPDW
Progs: 8 upright MG/MD are linked Progs near women's restroom. A bank
of six other of the same machines nearby are separate linked Progs.
Upstairs in the alcove near the gift shop are 6 more of these upright
MG/MDs with NO Prog on the .25 FPDW. All of these uprights are very
fast. When these new machines were first introduced last Christmas,
players could ask technicians to adjust speed, sound volume and even
toggle the auto-hold feature. I'm not so sure they will still adjust
them for you today.

I played at Silver lots in 2003 and never found or played any free-
standing .25 FPDW. You asked about "FWDW" - assume that is a typo?
Maybe you're referring to the old bank of .25 FPDW Prog uprights
along the south wall next to the women's restroom? Those are long
gone, replaced by the fast new uprights.

Did you miss all the hoopla about the new machines? For their first 3
weeks or so, they had 50c and $1 FPDW as an option. They never
really got heavy play, amazingly, but those options disappeared in
early Jan of '04.

At Peppermill:
the 10/6 DDB banks (some max 25c, some 25c/$1) have been downgraded
to 9/6 DDB. So sad. 10/6 DDB still exists in $1/$2/$5 denoms in the
high limit area (6 machines). Also Bartops in high limit have at
least $5 denom, maybe more and maybe the $5 are Progs, need to
check. I don't know if the main floor GameMakers have
DoubleAcesFaces (not a game I've yet played).

You may want to read trip reports and discussions in vpFree_Reno for
more info. And the casino database here is up-to-date for these two
casinos anyways.
