Reno questions

Hi everyone,

We have reservations at Boomtown Reno in October, but have never
been there before. Does anyone have any "Do not miss..."
suggestions for Reno? Since we'll be staying at Boomtown, we plan
on playing there quite a bit. From what I've read, the Peppermill
sounds like we should pay them a visit. We'll have a rental car
while we're there, so transportation won't be a problem. The Awful
Awful burger and the Best Breakfast in America sound like they
should be investigated, also.

We're mainly dollar players and, from what we've seen in the
database, it looks like 10/7 DB & NSUD are the best games at
Boomtown.

I started to make this post on the Reno board, but it didn't seem
like there was much traffic there. If my post needs to be moved to
the Reno forum, that's OK.

Thanks in advance for any info,

Noosarazoo

boomtown has a free shuttle downtown - you might want to take it and check out some of that action
good luck !

Check out this site:

For a break from the casinos, walk part of the Truckee River Walk
which runs 10 miles up and downstream from downtown. There should be
some fall color in October. Also, if you're in the Peppermill
vicinity walk around Virginia Lake. It's really beautiful and
relaxing. There is nothing in Vegas to compare.

Not anymore they don't. I was in Reno last month and after waiting a few minutes past the
hour I called Boomtown and was told they no longer offer the shuttle service.
