Our experience at Harvey's was somewhat different.
http://community.webshots.com/album/212547119MMwiTR I would compare the
room favorably to all but the top tier rooms on the Strip. It was on the
Diamond level, so maybe these rooms are not representative of the rest of
the hotel. Harrah's Tahoe rooms are supposed to be better yet. The
Harrah's Reno room we had was totally unimpressive. A basic, small motel
style room. Your gambling options will be plentiful in DT Reno, though...

Stayed at Harveys last year. Not sure what decade they refurbished
anything, room was old, bed sagged and was cheap, bathroom ceiling tiles
missing. Room was reasonably clean but definitely beat.
Dont expect anything like vegas strip, more like downtown vegas.
I hear Harrahs is better, but have not stayed there.
