Reno Hilton

Just back from Reno Hilton. Played mostly at the 50-play quarter JOB
machine in the high limit room. Never had a problem getting a seat at
one of the two machines. Usually played 4 hands, at which pace it's
easy to get about $3K/hour in coin in.

I think JOB must be near even with the .25% cashback plus Card-Of-Day
(they pay $20 cash for quarter players when you hit a specific quad),
huh? I know that some places don't pay their COD bonus on multi-
plays, but there was one hand in which I held trip tens (the COD) &
drew quads twice, & they paid me $40.

The biggest shock of the trip: wandering around the high limit room,
I find a 3-play quarter NSUD machine. This is a game I like, and the
stakes ($3.75/play) will be just my speed. But when I try to feed it
twenties, it keeps spitting the bills back at me. Finally, I stick in
a hundred, the machine ponders for a moment, & then shows a grand
total of FOUR credits. Oops. I again check the "$25" on the front of
the machine, & there ain't no decimal point in it.
