A post on the Atlantic City group (acvpp) seems to echo my previous
one, so I suspect my experience was not an anomaly.
Some further notes on Bally's. . .I have played there three times so
far, each time putting in between 60k and 100k on the 3 play $1
machine in the gold room. When I called and spoke to a host to see
what kind of status that would warrant me a free room, but she would
need to see more trips before bringing me in rfb or into a suite. I
had already told her that I was diamond Harrah's and that they bring
me in RFB, but that I liked to play at Bally's and wanted to see what
they could do for me. This was just before I played and discovered
the cut CB.
I can also say that when my cell phone was stolen there during my
first trip, security tried very hard to not fill out a report. They
were very rude to me and were reluctant to even lend me a phonebook so
I could locate Verizon stores nearby.
All told, I am also unhappy with Bally's, which is a shame because I
like the $1 3 play Double Joker there, and even though it is bigger
than I normally play, it was a good play for me with the CB.
Their player's club was unable to tell me if I could use my comps
earned there at Paris or Bally's in Vegas -- does anyone know?
Otherwise next time I am in AC, I am cashing out comps and taking them
for a Macy's shopping spree.
