In AC for the weekend, I went to Bally's yesterday afternoon to pick
up cashback from my last trip earlier in the month. This month they
are having a triple cashback promo, so that should have been about .6%
coming back to me. Well based on my play, my cashback was much, much
smaller than that - about half actually. So I went and asked
boothling at club desk if she could determine how much I played on my
last trip. She said she couldn't but I could talk to the manager. I
explained to manager that my cashback was much smaller than I would
have expected given my play and the promotion. She said that the
cashback had been reduced as part of the Harrah's merger -- she seemed
to have given this explanation a number of times already. SO based on
my calculations, and to make a long story short, the new CB rate at
Bally's seems to be about .1%. I am not as good at tracking comp
dollars, but it also seems to be lower than it was before.
