Hello - Glad to hear your husband is getting better, Jean. So often,
no surgery is best!
I rarely post, but check in every day. I've been using BDWP for
practice for many years, but during a recent trip to Las Vegas, I
stopped at the Gambler's Book Club and picked up the book Frugal VP
and the software to go with it. I hope to continue honing my VP
skills with the use of both programs. Thank you for sharing your
expertise with us!

By the way, if you hear someone refer to Tom - that is not
the "other" man in my life!
Brad's name is Thomas Bradley and he
is called by both names. He is Brad when his last name is Scott! He
is Tom when his real last name is used.
Some of you may have heard that Tom had another ambulance trip to
the hospital on New Year's Day. (It's getting pretty bad when you
know the ambulance medics by name!) Neck pain and a completely numb
right arm looked like a stroke and we feared that his carotid artery
was getting clogged up, as an artery in his heart continues to do,
requiring stents. The good news is that this was not the problem.
Extensive tests showed he has severe cervical stenosis, a narrowing
of the spinal canal, causing nerves to be compressed. This can be a
very painful condition - but right now it looks like he can live with
it without surgery. More tests and probably physical therapy to
come. He has already started some stretching exercises, which has
lessened the pain and numbness.
Thanx so much to everyone who has expressed their concern. We are
so rich in friends.
