Referring to my earlier post about editing

I described someone as a possible a**l editor type. It has been pointed out that this might not be a "nice" word in some people's vocabulary. Sorry if I offended anyone - I use it as a "clinical" word and never thought about it being vulgar. Perhaps because in a past life I was married to a school psychologist and I helped him a lot with his psychology classes in college!

If you have any friends who don't like the word "anal" I will be suprised!! Anyone who learns vp strategy has to be at least a little bit anal in order to suceed.

The article looked just fine to me, it is a shame you have to write it, there are so many things changing from day to day.

Loved the pictures of the family. I sent them to Gretchen so she can see what Angela's family looks like now.

Saw Noreen on New Year's day, she said Tom was having chest pains. Since you are sending to the list, I have to believe he is OK. If you ever need anything and Katy is in Texas and Pat and Cory are on one of their trips, just call me and we will be there. 914-6727.

I missed your birthday this year, has been a strange holiday season for me. Anyway, Happy Birthday, Happy New Year and hope all things are healthy and continue prosperus for you in 2007

It's so nice that we have people out there that are so concerned about
everyone else's feelings, isn't it? "Make sure you point out to Jean
that she may have offended someone." But personally, I am SICK AND
TIRED of all this POLITICAL CORRECTNESS BULL….

My wife says I am anal and I tell her she has a penile brain. OH my
gosh……, has my use of the English language offended someone on this
forum? ………… GET OVER IT.

If I wanted to live my whole life making sure I wouldn't offend anyone
by my word, action, or deed, then I would have to lock myself up in a
sound proof room and throw away the key. Which is what I wish these
people who so easily get offended by anything, would do. Then we would
be done with it.

Oh and by the way……. I was offended by Jean's attempt to apologize. Go
Figure.

With a name like Dick, your view is understandable.

That was a pretty curt response...

...and don't even think of playing with my name. You can get pretty
tired of hearing about toilets or women of negotiable virtue.

Someone accidentally sent a personal message to the list - but no harm done. No confidential or embarrassing details given!

By the way, if you hear someone refer to Tom - that is not the "other" man in my life! Brad's name is Thomas Bradley and he is called by both names. He is Brad when his last name is Scott! He is Tom when his real last name is used.

Some of you may have heard that Tom had another ambulance trip to the hospital on New Year's Day. (It's getting pretty bad when you know the ambulance medics by name!) Neck pain and a completely numb right arm looked like a stroke and we feared that his carotid artery was getting clogged up, as an artery in his heart continues to do, requiring stents. The good news is that this was not the problem. Extensive tests showed he has severe cervical stenosis, a narrowing of the spinal canal, causing nerves to be compressed. This can be a very painful condition - but right now it looks like he can live with it without surgery. More tests and probably physical therapy to come. He has already started some stretching exercises, which has lessened the pain and numbness.

Thanx so much to everyone who has expressed their concern. We are so rich in friends.

Hello - Glad to hear your husband is getting better, Jean. So often,
no surgery is best!

I rarely post, but check in every day. I've been using BDWP for
practice for many years, but during a recent trip to Las Vegas, I
stopped at the Gambler's Book Club and picked up the book Frugal VP
and the software to go with it. I hope to continue honing my VP
skills with the use of both programs. Thank you for sharing your
expertise with us!

Jean,
Sorry to hear about Brad. I know what being a chronic pain suffer is like. I will pray for him. I am the one you answered the Wisconsin tax questions for. Had to set up new email as the first was filling with junk mail every hour! Take care.

Jean: I too am sorry to hear of Brad's troubles. Though I have a
good piece of advice. My Mom had a number of back problems and
finally they had to fuse some of the bones in her spine. The Dr.
told her that walking if you can do it without discomfort benefits
every single back problem. I guess the reason is it helps the bones
from getting stuck in one postion or something like that. Anywho
both of my parents take a nice long walk every morning and it does
their spines a world of good. You should encourage Brad to take
some nice long walks with you, and often. M
