Let me see if I have this straight. I have been playing at Yonkers
NY ,
because it is totally smoke-free and its closer than
Moheagan/Foxwoods.
From what I have been reading on these posts , the machines are
VLT's.
As I understand it that means each hand is pre-determined either
winner or loser. If you accidently throw away a winner the Genie
appears and corrects to the predetermined payout. If this is the
actual
scenario than why hold any cards , just hit deal than draw. If I
was
dealt 3 tens for 15 credits and threw them away the machine will
make
my redraw a hand for 15 credits anyway since that was the
predetermined
payout. I have seen the Genie appear on many VP machines around me.
So
what I'm saying is you can just hit "Deal " and "Draw" all night
and
not "HOLD" any cards and you will get the same result at the end of
the
night as if you play the hand according to strategy.I'm almost
tempted
to put in $20.00 and try that out, well maybe $5.00!!! Now for my
next
question , is the "Redraw" part of the fixed payout ??? If it is
not
then whatever you get on your first hand is your fixed payout ,
correct?? This would allow the computer to correct your mistake on
the
first deal (to what the payout should have been)on the "redeal" OR
does
the Genie adjust your first hand and on the redraw you could
improve
your hand to the fixed payout. Meaning the fixed payout is pre-
determined on the second hand ?? I hope someone follows this
because I
don't even know what I'm talking about anymore. " Who's On
First,What's
on second, I don't know or he's on third " !!
