Reduced point rate on $ Pic'Em

Hello all,

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, after the WineFest, I was
playing the $ Pic'Em uprights in the Sky casino. After playing a few
hands, I noticed a black sticker with white lettering that indicated
this machine earns 1 point for $180. The sticker was not "in your
face" bold so you had to be observant to see it. I mentioned it to
the guys on either side of me and they admitted not seeing it until
I pointed it out. I'm guessing that the slant tops in the old poker
room have been modified (if not, they will be soon).

This almost makes Foxwoods double point days an option....if they
only had decent VP.

The WineFest was nice (my first one). The food was good, the wine
was good, too. They gave away a crystal wine decanter - it looked
nice. They had a couple Lexuses in the atrium area and I was hoping
that they were raffling them off but they did not - probably just
there for show. I guess they had liquor sampling in the upper level
meeting rooms but they closed that quite early. My buddy went up
there sometime around 8:45 and said they had closed. I heard there
were a lot of people getting sick last year so that is probably what
prompted them to shut it down early. Security was also cracking down
on the centerpiece claimers....I heard 1 security guard ask someone
to look in their bag - they took the centerpiece from them and
brought it back to the ballroom. I guess things are getting a little
tight at the Sun nowadays.

Looks like it's time for me to start planning regular trips to Vegas.

Royals to all, we'll need them!

Jack

Well soooooo,
Our trip end of next week to Reno and Vegas turns out to be fortunate.
Over $2K free play/cash back and free trip by Harrah's.
Competition is wonderful.
David and Teresa in Boston.
