reduced hours Harrah's Diamond lounges & elimination of 7 Star Lounges

I can confirm that as of about April 4 or 7 the 7 Star Lounges will be
closed at Caesars Las Vegas (and probably in AC as well).

Also, I was told that the Diamond Lounge in Caesars (and probably all
Diamond in Vegas) will also have shorter hours. Something like 2-9pm on weekends
and 4-9pm weekdays.

I'm guessing Diamond lounges around the country will also be cut as the new
owners of Harrah's main corporation start cutting costs.

Me, too. I plan on using the 7 Stars lounge this weekend for the last
time. They'd better have those wonderful chocolates out!

It really seems like HET (or whatever the new company is called) is
hell-bent on chasing people away with all the benefit cutting they're
doing!

surprize was that we were told the Buffet is only open from 12 to 6.
Also the room wasn't available until after 2 which was unusual. We were
told Sat was sold out causing a delay.

In A.C. the Diamond Lounge hours are 2-8 on Sunday and Monday. The

I've felt for some time now that Harrah's has been reducing their
attention and commitment to the Diamond level members (can't say about
the 7 Stars level). They've obviously decided that pure volume in
numbers of people through the doors is all they care about, not their
long term member retention.

I've expressed this feeling to our local Harrah's rep, who of course
denies this, but I think it's clear from the steady reduction in
benefits and offers returned for spending at the Diamond level.
