Red Rock

Has anyone received a monthly flyer from Red Rock for Nov? We normally receive a flyer with some type of room comp and a free buffet or two. The buffet was always an extra bonus if we were going to play there anyway.

I received private e-mails that some have received their Red Rock flyers. I went online and there were very few offers (no buffet) for either of us. I am a lowly gold and spouse is a platinum. In Sept. both of us received a W2G from RR. Is Red Rock telling us to not come back or is this part of their changover to 'We Love Locals", not out of towners?

Scuttlebutt is... IF you play the 99.8% games (NSU deuces) you get deleted from the monthly mailers. I did not believe it till it happened to me. It is called the "do not inivite" list. I hit no jackpots in over 18 months, have not been winning due to a lack of deuces, and suddenly no more double points, no more nothing!

That's Stations way of saying "WE LOVE LOCALS", or clueless locals...... Stations, the biggest liars in the Vally.....

on the flip side, at least they are not 86ing the players.... --- In vpFREE@yahoogroups.com, "the7thwarrior" <Judy@...> wrote:

Lets look at a few postives.

As most casinos have removed their 100 % machines( including the Palms) Red Rock ( Stations ) has increased them in the past few months.
They have increased the amount of points you get for $1 from 1pt to 3 points.

They also have put in machines like NSU, 9-6 Jacks , were there
are no point reductions

They have had double point days the last 3 or 4 weeks ( $1=6 points or $4 equal 6 points on the 100 % machines) on Friday or Saturday.

I realize you can't make everybody happy--but they seem to be trying

Let's look at the huge negative. Once you are identified as "do not invite" it is permanent. What are you going to play when they pull the 99.7% machines with just 0.3 - 0.6% CB and nothing else?

I like the free "stuff" Stations gives out, especially at Christmas.
I have often driven 26 miles one way to Red Rock for some jacket or blanket, candy or similar giveaway.

I don't hit many jackpots, none this year at Stations, and I am a recreational player, who enjoys the free food, and prizes.

Being on the do not invite list is horrible for someone like me.
I liked the free concerts, rooms, pies, blankets, souvenirs etc. that stations used to give away. What good are decent paying machines, if you don't get free stuff or mailers? Without the perks of a decent mailer, these machines are still a win for the casino.

There are lots of places that still have good machines, but Stations is the closest to where I live, so I like to play there. Are the machines a "trap?" If you play them you are identified as a do not invite player?

I still have lots of comp points, currently I am Pesident status, due to the double point days they had the first few weeks of the new program.

The last week of Oct. is when I got on this horrible list. Still don't know why. I emailed corporate, and I am awaiting an answer. Who knows if one will be forthcoming.

Spouse and I have only partly played the deuces. We played a lot less than 100% games with a lot of slots thrown in. Only once this year we took an offer of a room comp. I checked online and there is almost no benies showing. I was very irratated once at T-Bones as we had dinner one and a half hours after they opened and no prime rib. (We'll give you some benies, just don't win).

Can someone just tell me how they know they are on the do not invite list?

First clue is you don't get a mailer.
Next confirmation is the double points don't show up on the kiosk and when you go to the desk to inquire they tell you are not eligble for the promotion. When you explain you got an EMAIL saying to come down for the promo, they just repeat, you are on the do not invite to any promotions list. Then you repeat, you have a written email invite, and then you get to talk to a supervisor who will say they will ask for an investigation that never gets done, or just repeats, you are on the list.
