I am curious as to why casinos do that? I mean they already changed
the whole point to $ value a while ago. Why frustrate a player by
slowing down the machines. If they are too slow - I leave the
casino and go somewhere else. There are plenty of places that let
me control the speed of my machine.

My guess is that Red Rock doesn't want anyone speed playing the full-
pay Deuces Wild game at the quarter level.

who knows ?

perhaps they have more people asking them to slow them down than to
speed them up.

Perhaps they dont want anyone to get in more than 1000 HPH

maybe they dont want anyone to maintain or hit the upper realms of
their slot clubs by banging it out on the +ev games.

maybe Walmart asked them not to compete for workforce.

Perhaps they want to dicourage summerlyn living grinder pros.

I live about 3 miles away and do spend some time banging their
ducks. but theys are so many better opportunities for $.25 VP
players around that all they will really get from me is a bit of my
slide by action.

I have to chuckle about these discussions of speed. I'm a
recreational play visitor 1-3 times per year and my favorite game is
downtown deuces at the Vegas Club. My favorite machine on which
I've scored the deuces ($500) most has to be the slowest vp machine
I've ever played and I kind of enjoy watching the cards plunk into
place especially when the first 3 are ducks.

I've played those machines and if it is real slow I have asked (and
they have done it) to have the machine sped up.

Then I must have played two of the machines that you had accelerated.
One was in the bank near the movies and the other was in the bank near
the poker room. Lightning fast. But it was a slow machine that gave me
the Royal Friday night.
