No.

If the promo chip wins, you lose the real chip you wind up
with a net win of 0 and a loss of one promotional chip.

If the cash bet wins, you lose the promotional chip but
have a net win of 100.

The expected value of this maneuver is a little under $50
due to the fact that both bets are slightly negative.
