I know it has been discussed here that Red Rock is cutting back on
comps, but I wanted to share an experience I had with trying to book an
offer sent to me. I received an offer from Red Rock, but in the past I
have called a host to make the arrangements. When I called my host and
talked to him about the offer, he said to call the phone number on the
offer to book it. I said, that in the past I had talked to him (it
wasn't like I was just trying to get a free stay - this was actually an
offer sent to me by Red Rock!) He said "well, EVERYTHING has changed
here!" Then he said something about slot players (and I'm guessing
video poker players) aren't getting comped and I got the idea that a
host really doesn't want anything to do with us vp players! Not sure if
this is only at R.R. or if it is Station-wide because just last night I
got a message from a host I have NEVER talked to calling from Sunset
Station wanting to talk to me about upcoming events! Anyone else have
any host/booking experiences with R.R.? Thanks, I just wanted to vent!
