Red Rock Las Vegas

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good VP host? Our favorite Manny is no longer there.
Thanks,
Kary

Good luck...Manny is an Icon in the Casino Host business....we would not be surprised if the phrase "Casino Host" is changed by the industry to "Casino Manny". We were at the Chairman level at Red Rock for almost 3 years. Manny was our host and treated us like true close and personal friends. We found him by accident when we called one day to try and get a room for one night. Manny never missed a beat...he was always on top of everything....his communication flow was perfect. He always told us....you may be 7 Stars at Harrahs, but you are 8 Stars here at Red Rock...and he proved it by his actions. No other host from any other casino even came close to Manny and his ability to make you feel cared for and loved. When Manny left Red Rock because of stupid internal changes by ignorant corporate managers, the casino did not even bother to notify us or anyone that we know of that Manny was no longer our host.

We had been traveling on a 4 week trip and on our way to Vegas when he left. When we arrived, we not only discovered in VIP check-in that he had been gone for over 2 weeks, but our room had been downgraded and our freeplay was not placed on our cards until 3 days after we were there and over 6 visits to the Reward Center trying to get someone to pay attention to us. Once we got their attention they fixed the free play problem and offered apologies. All of this took place while my son and his family were staying with us as guest. Life without Manny is like flying a plane around the world without a navigator. We have also had ( after all our problems) approximately 5 different hosts call us from Red Rock and inform us that they now are our new host....right!! Red Rock has lost our business due to corporate stupidity and corporate greed. Good luck on finding someone to replace Manny.

surprised if the phrase "Casino Host" is changed by the industry to "Casino
Manny"

It's good to hear such a positive experience existed. Being 8stars sounds
not too shabby. I'm wondering if this might be an opportunity to share your
favorite hosts at the other LV properties? Every once in while, I consider
jumping to another property, but building a relationship with a host who
gets it in this climate isn't something I look forward to doing. The offer
may be great in the mail, but dealing with all the headaches once you get
there just doesn't seem to be worth it anymore. For a three day weekend we
opt to stay local and avoid the buzzkill of check in, host communication,
and playing comp roulette at the end of a trip. Especially given that the
pay tables her in the Midwest seem to be better than most of what the strip
has to offer.

So who's your favorite host(s) at the amenity rich properties in Vegas? The
ones who still get it and know how to fight for you, communicate well about
what they can and can't do for you and make your trip truly enjoyable?
