Red Rock Comp Requirements

Does anyone have daily coin-in info for a non-local player for a
room comp/casino rate at Red Rock? Also, what amount of play
usually generates a "marketing offer" for a free room etc.

I am interested in possibly staying at RR for 5 nights in February,
probably from Monday til Saturday.

Any information, from those with experience at RR, would be
appreciated.

Thanks!

We stayed there for 2 Comp nights in September based on our play from being
long time
Palace Station patrons, and we probably put in nearly $18000 in VP for those
2 nights and just
got another offer for 2 more free night during,Nov,Dec. and Jan.I would
think it would take
at least $20,000 coin in play per day for a Comp rate but I'm sure a Casino
Host cold give you
more "real" figures. The place is gorgeous and deserves its reputation
Good Luck

John Trovato is our executive host there. He's a great host! He moved
over from Rio when Red Rock Opened. Give him a call and ask. I've sent
other customers over there and they've been well taken care
of....they're heavy $2-$5 players though. He's off Sunday and Monday.

Thanks so much for the info, Chuck.

I usually do $10K-$15K daily (depending on soon my eyes cross! (-
So perhaps I have a shot at at least receiving a marketing offer, if I
play there for a few hours.

I appreciate your input.

$2 to $5 VP is a little out of my range, but I'll contact your host
and see what he says.

I very much appreciate your input!

Best regards.

Hi, Babe, I love your posts. Charlie and I stayed at Red Rock about 5
months ago on an offer of 2 free nights. We were happy because we had
wanted to try it as a possible "other casino" for us besides Palms, Sunset
and Suncoast. We live in Rhode Island.

Unfortunately, when we landed at Red Rock, I was sick for 2 days and was
unable to give them my usual 10K a day. of course they did not know that we
usually played 10K a day. For that trip, we put through about 6K total for
the 2 days. We figured we had heard the last from them. But, lo and behold
if we didn't get another offer from them a few days ago. it too was for 2
nights in November, December and January. 7 days a week.

I know that is a slow time of year but an offer is an offer. I am guessing
that 6K might be enough to trigger an offer from marketing, but that if you
want a host you might need a little more than that.

I am a great believer of cold calling a host, telling them where we are
comped, telling them that we play 10K a day and asking them what they can do
for us. We have done this several times and they always will do SOMETHING
FOR YOU, even if it is casino rate, promising to review your play
afterwards.

Good Luck,Annie

You should have no problem. We spent 2 nights in Sept, played no more
than $8K/day and have received several marketing offers (2 free nights
per visit) since.

Hi Annie,

Thanks so much for your very informative post, good advice and also
the nice compliment.

I am very much heartened by your response, and the response of
others. I had really thought that perhaps Red Rock was a tad out of
reach, at my level of play, for room comping.

I visited this lovely casino last month and was much taken with the
decor and general ambiance. I only played there for about 1/2 an
hour, however, not enough to generate any mail from them. I haven't
played at any other Stations properties either, so I have no
presence in their computer system.

On my next trip to LV, I'll be sure to go back again and play there
for a few hours and then wait to see what the postman brings.

Thanks again!

Best regards,
~Babe~
