Red rock adding 100 percent machines

My Favorite deuces game at RR - is the rare & hard to find , 15/10 super bonus deuces ( 100.12 ). Its a smidge less EV than LDW, but way less volatile. I was kinda surprised , after playing 80% of my action on >100% FP machines, that my host picked up $290 of the $300 left on my bill ( T-bones is one of the most expensive places in Vegas ! ). Since this is now the top Station, they were telling me their goal is 40% tourist, 60% local action. I'll be going back there now for certain.
PS - not sure what would happen if I won for the 2 holiday weekend nights, but a $50 loss is what the bottom line looked like.
best....Tom

They're adding machines because their take on them is good. Not many people can play DB or DDB with complete accuracy. They must have records showing the high amount of play on those games at less than optimal play. LDW is no easy game as the swings are quite high and the average player gives up before they see any long term advantage. Their comps and freeplay on these machines is horrendous as well so they're not giving up too much by offering them and people will usually play other games with significant others or friends on the way out.

I emailed a Red Rock host, spelled out what Sam's Town offers us so we could switch to RR, and never heard from the host. Would have assumed they would match another casino's offer if they were looking for business from tourists.

Or maybe business is just too good mid-week in July.

You might want to try actually calling and talking to someone. I would think that RR is considered much more upscale than Sam's Town, so who knows how it would translate - however it's always worth finding out.
You can never be sure what happens with an email...

I am interested in what the host said if you called.

I am also a tourist and have stayed twice at Red Rock in the past 2 months. I am just using my regular Station casinos comps, (that are good at any Station casino.) This limits me to only 3 nights a trip though and I would rather stay 4 nights.

Before I take a trip with hubby, I also need to contact the a Red Rock host to get the 4th night. I have a regular host at Sunset station and can get a suite there with all food - but I sort of doubt I would be comped at this caliber at Red Rock.

I don't think business is all that good mid-week in July. There seemed to be many empty rooms on both my visits. They weren't even full on July 4, no Station casino was completely booked up.

Tom, you mentioned SB Deuces Wild is way less volatile than LDW. do you know the volatility number associated with this game. I have found numbers for LDW at 70.7, but can't find it for SBDW.
Thanks,

The Variance is 36.39. If you compare the game to loose deuce you can see the V delta in the pay schedule. The more common 5k, SF pay a lot more in SBD and keep you alive for the shot at the RF or the Ducks. I guess I'd call the 15/10 super full pay, since 15/9 is the more common version , with the best AC version is 12/9. ...Tom

EDGE :
4 deuces --> LD
4 deuces + A -->LD ( but only 500 away )
