They have been flooding the Sacramento TV stations with their ad that talks about $100 for new card sign ups. No details, but they say "The first $100 is on us." See slot club for details (in small print) I am sure a lot of people expect to sign up for their free slot card and are handed a $100 bill to play. I know better, but I am wondering what are the detail? I have checked every section of their web page, and this promotion is not even mentioned, which makes me even more suspicious. Anyone know how this works?

I emailed Red Hawk and got a reply saying this promo is a loss rebate for new sign-ups who mention the promo when they sign-up. They will give you free slot play equal to your loss during your first hour of tracked play up to $100.
Here's the email I received from Red Hawk Guest Services:

Good Afternoon,
Thank you for your interest in our New Member promotion.
Red Hawk Casino is currently providing a "$100 On Us" offer
that is available exclusively to New Members of our Rewards
Club that saw or heard our advertisement. It is easy
to do and all qualified guests are given their offer the
same day as their enrollment. It is only available to new sign-ups that mention the
promotion at the time of enrollment. We automatically
track the first hour of slot play, starting with the first
time the Rewards Club card is inserted into the card reader
and the first coin is played on any of our great slot
machine games. After the hour is up, simply return to
the Rewards Club booth and one of our friendly staff
will add Free Slot Play to the account based upon the first
hour of tracked slot loss (up to a maximum of $100).Membership in the Red Hawk Rewards Club is free, but you
must be at least 21 years old to join. The Free Play
award will be available for immediate use, has no cash value
and is non-transferrable.We hope this helps clarify our New Member promotion, and
look forward to your visit.Thank you,
Red Hawk Casino Guest Services
Thank you for taking the time to check out this promotion ms. vpfree. I guess I could have written to them also. I do qualify for this promotion, but not sure about what to play. I have only been in Red Hawk once on my way to Lake Tahoe. I checked out some vp paytables - I was not impressed, but I did not check everything. The data base shows a few plays.

I was curious if it was a loss rebate or not. They seem to be popular lately with three of them I know about in Las Vegas. Each is a little different than the others.

Best VP game at Red Hawk for a while was a 9/6-90 JOB in $1. I remember this because I was drafted to help with that stupid audit last year proving Colusa had the looset VP in it's neck of the woods. There's lots of 100%+ or better VP games that don't get disclosed as per the guidelines.
Btw, some of the progressive VP opportunities easily get into the 105% range, but I risked being garrotted if I provide any hints. Don't worry, these opportunities are not obvious and requires going through multiple hoops (even I needed help). That is to say, these aren't the Jackson Rancheria multiple-play 9/6 JOB with quad 7 pays double with 5X cash back on a broken coin-meter that effectively gave you 1.5% cash back or more.
