In a twenty-four hour time span, where should a couple play video
poker 99.54% and better???

In the Chicago-area, Majestic Star and Trumps.

In Vegas, the LV Hilton.

The Hilton is a good environment to play in. Just be warned that their
top paying games are some of the more difficult such as All American,
PickEm, and Joker Wild 2-pair. PickEm isn't *that* difficult, it's
just difficult to hit anything. I'm weaning myself off JW2 as I've
reached the conclusion that it's a bs game, but someone else may have
the stomach for the long dry spells. All American requires a lot of
work and has the same defect as PickEm - never seem to hit the big
hands. I believe the Hilton also has NSUD and JOB, but I don't play
the former when there are other choices and JOB is too boring for me.

I agree with almost everything you say, especially on
the JW2. I'm a BIG fan of Deuces and it's variations,
and the Hilton is a good place for that. In fact,
roaming the strip a little more than I usually do this
last trip(2 weeks ago), it's simply amazing how good
the Hilton's VP is at every denomination compared to
everyone else.

I also don't think I'd get the offers and C2-level
treatment for my VP play at any other quality property
as I do at the LVH.

I was there on the weekend of their ownership transition. As you were
there 2 weeks ago did you happen to notice any changes in vp inventory
since your last visit (which I'm guessing was before the transition)?

The new ownership had already taken over when I was
there. There were no changes in VP inventory at that
time. I talked to a couple hosts and a couple people
in marketing. They all said there are no plans to
change the VP at the Hilton. The big plans seem to be
to reconfigure the casino, add machines, re-do the
sportsbook(better lighting, individual monitors,
plasma screens, etc), bring in bigger-name
entertainment and perhaps re-do the nightclub to be a
'hipper' venue.

They all said they are determined to offer the same
comps, marketing offers, etc as they always have.

When I got my new Hilton-Resorts card, they matched my
Caesars comp dollars, but of course they are only good
at the Hilton. I hardly ever have a need to use comp
dollars at the Hilton, but it's still nice to have.
However, there was no reduction of comp dollars on my
Caesars Connection card, and considering I earned most
of these comp dollars at the Hilton, I was pleasantly
surprised. The end effect was having over $300 in
comp dollars good at Caesars properties and and an
additional over $300 in comp dollars good at just the
Hilton.

Earning of cashback and comp dollars remains the same.

Hopefully, Resorts won't see any need to deter from
their plan or change the good VP and rewards for
playing at the Hilton.

I was there on the weekend of their ownership
transition. As you were
there 2 weeks ago did you happen to notice any
changes in vp inventory
since your last visit (which I'm guessing was before
the transition)?
