Wow. That's a fantastic story. I met Stanford Wong by accident at the
Klondike coffee shop counter, sometime in the early or mid 90's. Either He or I
struck up a conversation and I mentioned how I studied 5000 horse race charts
and found a slight advantage of the favorite to show in certain situations. I
was a little shocked that he was not oriental and, remember him telling me, "Do
the same test again with 5000 different results charts to prove it really
works." All I knew about the guy was he was from San Diego and had a
Blackjack newsletter and visited Las Vegas frequently. This could have been at the
same time as the surprise party took place, I don't remember.
