I just returned from Tunica and at Fitz in the same group of 10
machines upstairs there are (4) that are .25 3/5 play with both full
pay Super Aces and NSUD (as reported, one machine has a dealt prog for
3 play), also there are (4) 50 play 0.25 with the same games, on the
50 play machines only the .25 denom is full pay.
at Resorts Tuncia, the cash back rate varies by machine/bank,
personally I get either 0% (they are supposed to correct these
machines) 0.1%, or 0.375% on single point days with 2x and 3x working
correctly, it does not seem that the cash back is programed by the ER,
but just by the bank. Others I have talked to have reported different
cash back rates for thier play, I was able to check only 2 cards
mathmatically and they were the same as mine. The 9/6 jacks
progressive at the center bar actually have a 0.75% meter (I checked
very carefully). You may want to add that the machines to the right
of the center bar have $2 ACES Bonus 8/5.
at Sheraton Tunica, they removed the bank of $5 progessive machines in
High Limit and made it a $1 prog. bank, I believe the best game may
have been 8/5 Bonus (not positive), but no games anywhere close to
100% on that bank. The 24 machines in the VP area that are MD 0.25
thru $5 have lots of 99.9% games incl. Super Aces that is not
downgraded to 239, so it is a 99.9% at all levels, these machines have
12 games and 5 denomenations, so they are very flexible and easy to
get on.
I played a lot at Fitz and was already getting 4x$75 coupons, so I am
wondering if I will get the 4x$150 that is the reported max., I did
notice while talking to a promo sup. that there were coupons at most
all levels at $25 increments and the highest I saw was $150. We ate at
the Fitz buffet and it had limited choices, but the food was fine, I
would give it 3 on a scale of 5. Also ate at the Limericks steakhouse
and it was pretty good, 3 of us ate on a $100 comp with no alchohol.
Checked Horseshoe for game updates and there still no playable games
at any level. Talked to my host and she said they have a new head of
slots and they are working on being more competitive with thier VP,
hopefully some new games in July. Didnt play, but did get a free
lunch at thier very good buffet.
Had dinner at Sheraton buffet and was fairly disappointed, more
choices than Fitz and maybe just slighty less tasty, it was slow and
sometimes it is hard to do a good buffet when it is slow, still 3 of 5
stars. Didnt track my play very close, but it seems like I got a
lower cashback rate than last trip. (next time I will check closely)
Had dinner at TJs Steakhouse (Resorts) and had excellent food and
service, it was slow and they are really trying to build up traffic,
so I believe comps are easier than ever right now. It may be busy on
7/3 and 7/4 with 3x and 4x cashback.
Happy Royals
