Reccomendation

Planning a visit to LV late January. Have stayed at the Palms the last 8
times but now want a change. Used to stay at Suncoast before the VP
inventory change. Did some research on the database and it seems that NY/NY
may be a good choice. Looking for good VP, nice room and excellent
restaurants...I know... so is everybody. You know what I mean, as nice as
the Palms but different. Any reccomendations?

According to one article I read the #1 VP choice right now is the
Casino MonteLago on Lake Las Vegas. They are trying hard to
get "established". It's new and very very nice, plus there are
several excellent restaurants. But it may be expensive to stay at
the Ritz Carleton, located next to the casino. Another room option
is the Hyatt, less than a mile away, and the Fiesta is also close ...
a few miles down the road towards Henderson.

First off, it's a fun place. If you retire early(and why would you)
don't get a room by the roller-coaster. The best food, IMHO, is not
had at the restaurants, but at the smaller places like Greenberg's
Deli and Nathan's. ESPNZone is cool, and tasty if you stick to the
basic stuff. Can't remember the name, but there's a small juice stand
to the left of the coaster stairway entrance that has awesome drinks.
As for VP, FP JoB behind the escalator, next to the Harley in the
window. Back-to-back Pick 'ems about 100 ft. straight ahead from same
escalator, standing by themselves. No DW. There may be other FP games
around, but I stick to the basics. Good Luck.
