The devistation along the coast is incomprehensible. Hopefully all
efforts from government and private sources is being directed to assist
people survive. In the months and years to come as life returns to
normal, perhaps it will be time for the coast states to reconsider
building codes and scrap the boat casino idea.
Rebuilding
What a mind-boggling disaster. No doubt I think, that it's the worst natural disaster in U.S history. And no question that the floating casino law needs to be reconsidered before rebuilding starts. Even more than that, there will hopefully be some real serious thought about how to rebuild N.O.
