re trusting Indian Casinos

I live in NC and Harrahs Cherokee is the only casino close by, and I hardly ever play there. I am not sure which class machines they have but I was told a long time ago by an author of a book about video poker that I was much better off to take an airplane any where else than to play there, and I have done much better since I took that advice. I would spend more money in a few hours in that casino than I would on a weekend charter anywhere else.
The pay tables were terrible for video poker. I had a blackjack dealer tell me one time that he wasn't convinced that his cards were coming from the same place as the players. All the blackjack is digital and I decided if I was going to lose at blackjack I'd rather see my cards dealt for real in front of me.
A lot of people have lost almost everything they owned by going up there. Another thing, I never saw in any of the slot magazines the payouts published for Harrahs Cherokee.
I'm not saying they are cheating but I never felt like I was getting a fair game.
