Don - It seems to me you might want to get a copy of your win/loss statement
from Cortez and also send a letter to the owner/manager, politely stating
that you don't understand why you were escorted out when you lost X amount of
dollars during 2005 and just play video poker there on several different
types of machines. See what they respond…

Not to be too flip about it but, isn't this a blessing that's not in
disguise? Do you really want to spend time at the El Co?

Interesting. Just last week I received a free stay offer from the El
Cortez which caught me off guard as I had never set foot in the place.
My initial guess was that Barrick acquired El Cortez and as a result a
customer database was being shared, but according to this article it
is not yet a Barrick property. That has me wondering how they got my
info, but it is unlikely I'll stay there. When I walked towards the
end of Fremont 2 weeks ago I looked up and thought "sheesh, I have to
walk there from here? I'd feel safer in the death zone on Galifray.:-)".
