Re; Piling on Peppermill

Thank you for the responces and the explanations all sound plausible
to me.I vacation at several casinos yearly and I try to be smart about
my gambling $$$$. I do want to know exactly what comps I have coming
without hassling a host every day for meals. My free rooms or suites
at Harrahs and the reward points I garner are more than enough to
cover RFB.

I received a phone call from PM exacutive host this evening in
response to my E-mail. It was a very cordial discussion and I
suggested that PM should do two things. One, change over to a comp
system that was inline with industry leaders and two, read the VP free
forum (lol) so they could understand that I was not the only one who
was confused with their set-up.

IMHO, That's the worst advice you can give any host. Poster's on VPfree have done that in the past, and within 2 weeks, good plays would go away. Your better off telling them - "I play a mixture of slots and video poker - I was reading in "strictly slots" magazine that this place has a better variety of slots then video poker, is their anyway to make these equal ?"
Remember , hosts have discretion when giving comps and follow this golden rule:
Coin In - Coin out - comps = Pure profit. 'A' Players who generate the most Pure profit - get the most comps, and consequently the most pay raises and bonus' for the host.

AMEN TomFlush!
I blanched at this 'read vpFree' post also.
Not that we casino employees from membership, we just hope our hosts
aren't reading.

Kinda funny and coincidental that I heard hosts at Peppermill had
their internet privileges REVOKED this last year. As in any office,
some clowns were surfing porn sites. Hooray for inept management!
