Even at single line 25c Double Bonus, the "prizes" are really an
embarrassment. Satisfy yourself by walking by the giveaway table near the sports bar and
see the variety of tacky gifts. I blame myself for not doing this before I
started playing. I assumed that each ticket was some level of cash...lol.
My only salvation was I did get a $100 scratch ticket. The real drawback is
that their staff is not sufficient to cover the area and there are long waits
to get the scratch cards. This is not the first time that some of us didn't
even claim the "freebies" that were some draw as part of the month's schedule.
It is a contrast that the Palms is trying to have that "in" profile with a
variety of Hollywood types sighted on the property and then embarrasses
themselves with such a variety of cheap gifts.
