Re LVH theoretical/lower offers

I've been playing at least 1500 points per day, most on $5 reel slots, not
VP, and got my offer for Aug. It was only $25 instead of the $200! I haven't
spoken to my host about it yet - but it certainly was weirdly lower. I
believe I also lost more than the $2500 theo you are talking about on a couple of
trips in April and May.

I can't resist saying that if you play negative games, you must expect
to lose.

I think that we have been around the bush so many times on this, it is hardly
worth commenting further. But, will I let that stop me from commenting? NO!
LOL.

My only response is, again, to use the word "entertainment", Certainly, you
will also "lose" money if you go to any of the LV shows, or you sit at the bar or
a table with a drink in your hand. But, with playing some of the so-called
"negative games" you still gain comps and cashback, giving you back some of
your "losses".

Aside from paying for shows and your drinks with comps and cashback,
earned while playing "negative games", there are seldom "rebates" on any LV
shows.

Why is this so hard to understand?

bl, technically your comments are on target. But they're typically
made in reply to someone who reports playing vp in circumstances
where, with cashback, the player is looking at an expected house hold
of 1% or so.

However, keep in mind that Elliott's comments were prompted by a
report of someone playing substantial coin through on $5 reel slots,
where the published house hold generally runs 3%-5% and there's no
opportunity to improve upon that through skill ... just hoped for luck.

I agree with you totally and completely, Harry! For me, there is entertainment,
and then there is Entertainment (with a capital "E"). What I liike and strive for
and enjoy doing in LV is coming as close as I can to breaking even, even
when I know that I often (i.e., most of the time) will "lose", and end up "paying"
for my entertainment.

But, LOL. Friends and family still don't fathom the fact that I have yet to see an
LV show. I can see shows in almost any major city in the USA. But, for
gambling, there is only a few places and, so, when I go to LV, my intent is the
"entertainment" of gambling, not the "shows". Have you priced some of these
recently? WOW!

But, then, again, and in conclusion, who am I to judge someone else's
"entertainment", If they want to play the slots and have the cash (and
fortitude) to do so, hey, have fun!

I received $25 instead of the $200 too with the same level of play. Any body
on the board got $200 in Agu.?
