Apparently a few too many of you took my suggestion to arrive early at GC
if you wanted to get the free Emerald card buffet on Friday nights (1/2
price for Sapphire and Ruby card holders) and showed up exactly at 4pm, so the
line was really long! I noticed no line at all for Emerald members at 5pm,
so maybe the best bet, its just to show up whenever you want to, and this
will spread things out for Emeralds. For Sapphire and Ruby members, the
line was shorter at 4 pm than 5 pm.

I haven't been too lucky with drawings, so haven't been entering the GC
drawings. But last month I had about 800 entries, so went to 1 and won $800.
Tried again last night with about 730 entries, but no luck. I noticed on
this drawing Emerald members can swipe daily and get 40 entries, and that
would me 280 entries alone if you did this, so I guess my 730 entries
wasn't really all that much. I'm back to not bothering with these drawings,
especially since I tend to lose $ while waiting for the drawing to commence
after dinner!

If you do play at GC, remember not to withdraw money from your machine, or
you may not get all the multipliers - always go to the rewards desk to
withdraw the accumulated cash.

If you are playing a lot at GC, the hosts are very nice, and will comp
restaurants and shows at Orleans, Society of 7 tickets, etc. I believe you
may also be able to get a comp for the Orleans from GC play. Obviously you
don't want to overdo their generosity!!!!!!!!!!
