A million dollars coin-in to the casino, or $500 to the cute waitress.

How much coin in do you need for a cute waitress comp?

So THAT's what Harrah's 7* is all about?

Well, for those of you who find this kind of story encouraging...

This week has been full of ups and downs. One day, I turned $100 into $600
plaing .25 DDB for about four hours. That was fun...got a LOT of play out
of that initial $100 and hit 4 aces twice and 4 quads with kickers twice,
plus a lot of other four of a kinds. A few days later, luck turned around
and after putting $100 in and getting up to almost $400 thanks to quad 3's
plus quad aces not to far into it, I took a nose dive--played off the $300
win, the $100 I put in, plus $500 more...ending the day down $600 and not
nearly happy as being up $500 a few days earlier for the week.

Well, yesterday, I decided to give it one last shot, since I had about $30
in free play available. But, feeling apprehensive about my $600 run of bad
luck, I was only going to stay long enough to play my $30 of free play, plus
up to $100 out of my bankroll. $60 into a DDB machine, plus my $30 of free
play, netted me nothing at all.

So, just for fun and feeling totally wreckless, I put my last $40 into a
Triple Double Bonus machine hoping for a little bit of luck. Now, I don't
usually like to play TDB, since it can be (and usually is) a pretty brutal
game for me. But, the last time I put $100 into TDB, I got lucky holding
two cards and drawing a 2000 coin quad 2's with the kicker. And, as I was
walking by the bank of TDB just now, some guy on the end hit the quad aces
with kicker. So, even though it was a total crapshoot, with the lure of a
larger quad jackpot looming, I put my $40 into the machine anyway.

Well, after playing down to about $20 remaining, I held Qd and Ad and nealy
fell out of my chair when the rest of the RF filled in to win me a 4696 coin
progressive. SWEET!

So, I kept playing a bit more on the same machine hoping to score one more
(hopefully juicy) quad before going home a happy man, and within five
minutes I was dealt Qs, 10s, Js, and As. Pausing for a moment, I thought
about the sweetness of a second royal, and wishing with all my might that
just ONCE IN MY LIFE, I'd get that magical fifth card, I pressed the draw
button and won 4234 coins with the Ks!!! DOUBLE SWEET!!

I guess two royals can happen on the same machine on the same day, even
within a five minute span.

So, thus my super luck ended a long draught of royals for me and saved my
week. I will live to play another day!

Hey Nathan - I had nearly the same thing happen to me in September:
Hit 2 royals on the same machine at Main Street Station, with the
second one only 4 HANDS after the first. In both cases, I drew two
cards to fill the royal. This was at the 50-cent level. Yes, it can
happen.
