For whatever reason, I have not received the above post, but John forwarded
it to me. The name of the place is the Vista del Valle. It's located just
north of the Gold Coast (so close they practically share a parking lot). We
stayed there about 5 years ago (10/98- 3/99), so I'm not sure how much of
this is current. We had an executive suite (everything was furnished --
linens, all kitchen equipment, TV, etc. They used to advertise "just bring
your clothes.") We stayed there about 6 months. The rent was $850/month
(one bedroom). The address is 4051 W. Viking. Their phone # is 367-1516.
Hope this helps! (Of course, we stayed there when the Gold Coast was a
great place to play, but you still will be only a block, easy walking
distance, from the Palms.)
