re Coasts cutting cashback

I wrote a letter to complain about the Coast cashback cut and the way the
letter they had sent was worded. I got a phone call back and was told that the
program will be changing in Jan. - new and improved but they can't reveal it
yet (due to competition), but that if we hang on we will see that cashback
really won't be cut.

Implication is they will institute a lot of 6x points days or similar or
other promotions to make up for the changes.

It was nice that they called. I will keep my fingers crossed that they do
improve things.

Also apparently the Gold Coast buffet will be "improved" soon. No doubt
they will "improve" the price too!

Well since they went to $2 coin in to get a point and their points
are now worth 1/3 what they were, they would need to have ocasional
12X weekend to make their cashback similar to what it was on the old
2x weekends right ?

I just dont see them gong to frequent 12x days.

I fear these guys are doing all that is possible to raise the bottom
lines of their casinos . In an effort to find a deep pocketed buyer
for their corporations. with the eminent tax increase I figure the
former casino multi millionaires just would like to take money for
their shares and points and bail out of the ownership end.

they can still charge the capital groups millions to run the joints
if they so choose.
