Hi,
I feel that Caesars thinks they are as luxurious as the other
hotels mentioned. Truth is if you're not in the Palace Tower you're
in for a room thats quite a bit lower in its decor, size etc. I feel
that Caesars is tighter with their bounce back, level of promo
offerings( gourmet restaurants). The staff can at time have
that "snotty" attitude.
I find the hotel/casino to be a hodgpodge of towers and casinos
patched together to try and make an almost 40 year old establishment
feel like a new one.IMHO it doesn't have a distinct feel( classy)
that Bellagio Mandalay, and Venetian have. However they have the best
mega resort( or for that matter any hotel) VP on the strip !
Just my two cents worth. And oh, by the way as I've previously
posted it looks like I'll be cancelling NYNY and staying at CP this
coming Sunday.

I have stayed at Caesars several times all in the Palace Tower. I
agree with you that Caesars does not have as nice a lobby as
Belagio, Mandalay or Venetian, as many "trophy" resturants and you
do not see as many "beautiful people" and "hardbodies" at the pool.
However I consider Caesars to be the most "professional" of the
luxury casino hotels. Friends who play bj and craps tell me they
have the best dealers and the games are in a crisp and professional
but friendly manner. It is one of the few strip casinos whose vp
offerings has improved in the past 1.5 yr. I have found Caesars
personel to be friendly and helpful and its offers compeditive.
There are lot of little non-showy luxury touches: The casino floor
is kept clean, fills are usually prompt,it has the best shopping
adjunct and the quantity and temperature of the hot water in the
rooms is unmatched. The hot tubs fill up with a volume of flow
comparable to a fire hydrant. Even the burgers and fries at the pool
are the best. I consider Mandalay Bay to be a first class resort
with a second class casino, Bellagio is beautiful, but only in poker
is it at the pinacle as far as casinos, and Venetian had made
mistakes in hight-roller vp offerings and got burned which resulted
in its being a vp desert today. In short, I consider Caesars to be
the best managed hotel in its class.
