I've now heard back from one person who did not get the 7* mailer but
instead got Diamond. After checking with his Atlantic City host he has been
properly reinstated as 7* and now the harrahs.com website shows the correct
designation.
According to the host there was indeed a glitch that affected many people.
If you are one of them, contact your host.
As I mentioned, if you should have been 7* and did not receive the invite
for the Signature Event in New Orleans in April and want to go, you should
try to straighten this out as soon as possible and book, since this event
will book up quickly. Airfares to N.O. during this Jazzfest week are higher
than normal, so be on notice for that as well.
