The "regular" reward credits (1 per $10 of VP or $5 of slots) goes toward
tier score (10,000 per year = diamond card) at ALL Harrah's.
The "bonus" reward credits = 1c of comps per RC. Never more than double the
regular reward credits (Unless they sent you a coupon that multiplies them.)
On Harrah's better (?) VP it may be less or even zero! (At Joliet, the $1
9-6 DDB progressive gets NO bonus reward credits. The progressive feed rate
is 0.8% so this is sometimes a positive play.)
Harrah's has had several special events at East Chicago trying to explain
how the "More" version of "Total Rewards" is better than the old system but
they have not fooled anybody!

I play at Harrah's STL quite a bit and typical bonus RC's on video
poker is less than 1 bonus per 10 earned RC's... lots of the time it
is Zero bonus per 1000 earned RC's. So at least here you can just
figure to not get any bonus RC's at all. Just for clarification we
get exactly 1 earned RC per $10 coin in, and a host told me that the
computer keeps track of fractional coin in and you dont loose out by
changing machines at $5 in coin in.... I cant confirm, but that is
what I was told.

Anyone know of other properties and thier situation?

Did any one get the invitation to participate in the Play and Earn program
during January and February from Harrah's East Chicago? it was a letter
received in the mail saying if you play xxx base rewards credits from Jan 1
thru Feb 29, we will send you $xxx. The "fantastic cash bonus will be mailed
to you after March 5th." Both my husband and I fulfilled the requirements,
but we have seen nothing in the mail or in our Harrah's account online. Has
anyone gotten this "great CASH BONUS?"

Secondly, did anyone receive bounceback cash from Majestic for play on
February 28 - 29th? Thanks for your information.

fulfilled the requirements too and have not received anything yet.
At one point I went to the TR desk and asked if they could tell me
exactly how many credits I needed to earn. I had an idea but
couldn't remember the exact number. I was told it wasn't on her
computer and that I would just automatically receive the check if I
earned the amount. Unfortunately, I did not keep the letter from the
promotion but I know I earned over the amount required. I'm worried
I may have gotten screwed on this deal and I have no backup to prove
it.

If it's the same promotion they had here at the KC
Harrah's, there is no check. It's a coupon you take
to the cashier.
