random or not?

played Saturday at Elgin, Grand Victoria, playing on the Game King,
one of the hands, after holding four cards, the redraw appeared to be
the same card that was discarded....when talking to my wife later,
she also mentioned holding four cards, and the redraw appeared to be
the same card as discarded........these machines were set at the
highest speed ...any comments !?
Another experience was a bank of six machines with the Poker Time
label - these are positioned in such a way that the casino lights
create an unbelievable glare as to make playing a struggle to see.

any one have comments out there?

You could always ask a slot tech to verify it, but I could pretty
much guarantee you that your fifth card was the same denomination and
color, but the other suit. For example, you threw away the 5 of
diamonds and got the 5 of hearts. They look incredibly alike after
flashing off and on a card back. It's happened to me many times, and
to your eye (especially on a fast machine, where the card only
disappears for a split second) it looks like it might have been the
same card.
