Am thinking of staying at the Rampart/Marriott on my next visit to Las
Vegas.
Does anyone have any comments/opinions on it?

I live about a mile away from the place and play there frequently. The
casino is not that large, and easy to navigate. They have most of the
newer slots; plenty of good VP, and a decent tables games section.
The hotel is very, very nice. I really like the pool area, and the
lush grounds with meandering streams and small waterfalls.

Gary, knowing that comps factor very heavily in the attractiveness of
a property to you, I'll note that at one time it was reported that
both a room comp as well as significant food and beverage comps
(beyond a buffet, e.g.) were tough scores. Think in terms of Green
Valley Ranch. The property is certainly every bit as fine a resort.
However, I don't have first-hand experience and those comments are dated.

Having been a member of the Resort at Summerlin the casino and the
hotel are not one and the same, and you have to pull some strings to
get a comp. at Marriott .Hope this helps.Gerry
