Rampart Today

They have 2x points AND the Neighborhood Partners program running
simultaneously today.

Given the limit of 6 merchant cards, for the first $10,800 coin-in,
you would receive $60 in merchant cards and $27 cash back, for a .8%
return, before looking at the base game.

In the above example, I used cards that are 450 points for $10 (e.g.
Vons, Target, Walmart). There are some that have a lower number of
points needed, for these the percentage return will be slightly higher.

How do you get cashback with this as they take the points for the 6 cards,at least they do at the cannery

Normally they take the points and normally the neighborhood merchant
program is on single point days.

But since they are giving 2x points for the Rampart 6th Anniversary
celebration AND having the neighborhood merchant program...it works
like this:

Play $10,800...earn 5,400 points (instead of the usual 2,700
points)...use 2,700 points for merchant cards ($60) and use 2,700
points for cash back of $27.00. Total return is $87, which equates to
a .8% return.

I just received a note in the mail today from the Cannery saying that
they'll have the same thing on some 5x points days and that no points
will be redeemed.

Are you sure about this? When I played last week to get drawing
tickets, they gave me tickets based on base points, not 2x points.
This is a new policy, and I suspect the gift cards awards will be on
base points only.

He is precisely correct.

Remember, at the Rampart, a Walmart or Target card is only 450 points,
not 900 like at the Cannery. So what he quotes above is base points.

In the past, the Cannery has combined gift cards and 5X points. Then,
900 coinin would produce 4500 points. You would redeem 900 for a gift
card, and have the remaining 3600 points to use for CB.
