Rampart changed their policy effective 7/1. Prior to that date, you
earned comps playing their table games and you could use the comps
to "buy" vouchers for neighborhood businesses, including gas coupons
at Fabulous Freddies at Charleston and Rampart.
I have been playing BJ there about once a month, when corporate
office visitors came to LV on business. We used to split our playing
between Texas and Rampart, but migrated to the Rampart exclusively
over the last few yaers.
I didn't know about these hidden comps until a boothling asked me if
I wanted some gas vouchers as I was getting cashback for my VP play.
Asked him what he was talking about...he explained. Asked how much I
had...he said they were not "allowed" to divulge the amount. In any
event, I've been getting around $40 per week in gas vouchers since
around mid January. Perfect timing since Fiesta ended its gas for
points program at 12/31/05...and Mesquite VP opportunities have
dried up (they had a gas for points program, too)
Went there yesterday, was told that they could not redeem any table
points for vouchers, effective 7/1. Will have to ask the pit boss
what happened the next time I play BJ.
Any other casinos have gas promotions (other than Terrible's)?
