Possibly an error, but more likely, they are experimenting. Trying to get VP
players to play some at the tables. The Palms did this some time ago, when
they sent out weekly table game "free bet" coupons to VP players.
I also got cash coupons instead of free play this month. No big deal, except
that it's a lesser amount than I was getting in FP.
My free gift descriptions still talk about points earned. Maybe your mailer
really was a mistake!

My February mailer is sort of similar, yet kind of bizarre. The dollar
amount for each week is the same as January, but the coupon must be
redeemed at a table game for chips. Plus, everything in the mailer
regarding the so-called free gifts talks about table game play, rather
than points earned playing VP.

Too bad - friends were picking up my free play when I travel.
Maybe that's
a reason they stopped it - people took it more often? Mine didn't
arrive so
I don't know what the numbers will be.
