Rampart just published details of their drawing promotion for November. They advertise that they’re giving away $75,000 in this promotion.
Here’s the skinny:

25 prizes total (8x$150,7x$200,5x$250,2x$500,1x$750,1x$1000,1x$5000)

total of $11,600 prizes available, average prize $464

2 drawings every Saturday, 8 names per drawing, 5 Saturdays = 80 winners

80 X $464 = $37,120
That is significantly less than $75,000. I already called the person I was told was in charge of the drawing structure. I left a hurried message giving the details because often voicemail systems limit the message length. If it was the right person, I hope they are better at listening than they are at calculating.
This is not the first time they have made a LARGE error in proclaiming the amount given away. I think it was July’s drawing. That time they fixed it by changing the number of names drawn at each drawing from 3 to 5.
It seems you just can’t find good help these days.
