Rampart Casino Promotions in April

April 12th is their 4th anniversary, so 2X points all day, free cake
and champagne from noon to 6PM, and free T-shirts while playing slots
or table games from noon to 6PM.

Also, the Rampart is giving away $50,000 via drawings on Thursdays and
Saturdays between April 20th-29th at 6PM and 8PM. 1 drawing ticket for
every 100 points (excluding points earned April 12th).

In general, the April promotions appear to be better at the Cannery,
but I rarely go there. If anyone is interested I'll post that too. I
get this info from the "Cannery and Rampart Reporter", the monthly
blurb they mail out to virtually everyone in the Summerlin area (not
just card holders).

I would be interested in the Cannery promotions for April, especially
the days when you can exchange points for giftcards.

Thank you,

Rob

There is a full page ad in todays Las Vegas Review Journal that states:

1. Monday thru Thursday all meals 1/2 price when paying with club points.

2. 50% off 7 days a week at all Coast showrooms & hotel rooms.

3. 20% off all Century Movie Theatre tickets.

4. 10% off at all gift shops, liquor stores, bowling
pro shops & Prestige Travel.

5. 50% off all bingo buy ins 7 days a week.

Ad states that offer is valid April 1 thru 30th and that Club booth must be visited for theatre and travel discounts. Only the part about meals specifically states that offer valid only when paying with points..

Oops, just noticed at botom in smaller print that "all offers valid only when paying with Club Coast points".

The Cannery is giving away $125,000 in "Progressive Cash Giveaways"
every Friday and Sunday at 6PM and 8PM. Get 1 drawing ticket on
single point days for 100 points earned and 1 drawing ticket on 5X
points days for 500 points earned. There will be 320 cash winners.
I don't know what they mean by "Progressive".

5X points are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays all day and Saturdays
from 6AM-6PM.

May 1st is the grand opening of the Poker Room. A May promotion is a
$10,000 seat in the WSOP final event, a guaranteed $20,000 freeroll
tournament, cannery jackets, hats and spinners. You need to contact
them to get the details on how to qualify for the items above. The
poker room has 12 non-smoking tables.

May 1st is also the opening of the new Race and Sports Book ... free
T shirts that day.

There are various food coupons, including $15 and $20 (after 7PM) at
Waverly's Steakhouse for steak eaters (not me) ... but that sounds
like a good deal. I "dumpster dive" for the monthly bulletin so I've
got 56 of the Waverly's coupons, and won't use any of them! Contact
me if interested.

I found no reference to the "giftcards" you mentioned.

Can someone explain to me how this works? Do you visit the booth first
for a comp slip. or do you swipe your card when paying at the
restaurant?

Thanks,

Can this also be used with a 2 for 1 coupon?

You just tell them at the restaurant that you want to pay with your points and they take care of the rest.
You will get a computer generated receipt showing they gave it to you for half price.
I have done this several times without incedent and have never had to arrange anything through the slot club.
