The bottom line is we really don't know. But I do know I would be sad

No kidding, so would I! This casino has made a good go of it as opposed to
the two previous ones IIRC.

A man stomps into a bar, obviously angry. He growls at the
bartender, "Gimme a beer", takes a slug, and shouts out, "All lawyers
are assholes!"
A guy at the other end of the bar retorts, "You take that back!"
The angry man snarls, "Why? Are you a lawyer?"
The guy replies, "No, I'm an asshole!"

I agree. It is a great place to play VP. I am not a pro, so all I
ask is 99% or better VP. Rampart does not have 10/6 DDB, but they
have 9/6 DDB that is worth a shot when the progressive gets up
there. Then Jacks, Bonus, Bonus Deluxe, Double Bonus; it's a
smorgasboard of tolerable VP. But I will say they are weak on Spin
Poker; I would play it if they would upgrade the paytables.

Regardless, I am just a quarter single line player and they send me
money every month. Plus two buffets. Plus every time I have asked
for a buffet or the cafe, it is always given withount objection.
Once a year, the Carmel Room at or near my birthday. It's like a
country club where players control the membership price.

That would be enough. Then there is the cashback. And the occasional
free gift or free slot tournament. The clincher is I get to drive
along one of the most beautiful streets in Las Vegas to get there.
Somewhat offset by the speed bumps once I turn left into the
property. I even told Sal that why don't they just put bricks in the
road and make it a dodge-em course.

I more than agree. Rampart is the almost the perfect locals casino
and I would hate to see its demise. Usually play $1 single line or
the equivalent. 99.8%+ games include 10/6 JW2, .10c x 10 SA, 9/5
TB+, 9/6 Bdlx multi-strike, plus 99.7% NSU deuces and 99.0% version
of Cash King Checkers which becomes 100% w double points. It's the
one casino I am never bored with being limited to too few playable
games. Love to play near round bar with vocalists. Rampart lets
husband and wife sign or pick up cash for one another (ask for form
in player booth), which is great when one of us is away. Summerlin
club is clean and friendly and Casino is clean, intimate and classy.
Interesting daily incentives, friendly staff. Wife won large screen
tv drawing, etc.

Charles, is the beautiful street Rampart or Canyon Run? lol.

LOL. I think you know the answer if I say I live near the Summerlin
Hospital. I could take Town Center to the Parkway, but there are so
many maniac drivers along there, so I just take my chances in the
roundabout to get onto Canyon Run.
