Rampart Casino future

Marriott generally does not own any of their properties -- they are only a franchise company.

It could be that the actual owner of the property is going to try and run the casino.

Does anyone know who the owner of the property is?

Checked on the net, seems to be Hotspur Resorts a subsidiary of Larco
Investments, a Canadian group with principal owner being British
investor Shiraz Lalji:

Hotspur Resorts, part of Larco Investments, owned by Shiraz Lalji,
whose worth is estimated at over $800 million. Source credit: Las
Vegas Weekly.

The original post mentioned the lease might not be renewed. Perhaps
the Rampart didn't like the proposed terms. Perhaps Cannery Resorts
wants to put more focus on the casinos and hotels it owns. Aren't they
building a new Nevada Palace over on Boulder Highway?

The bottom line is we really don't know. But I do know I would be sad
if Rampart employees were replaced or let go.
