Just FYI to anyone headed their way:
The Rampart's slot club computers have been kaput since about noon today, and were still out of order as of a few minutes ago. You cannot download freeplay, get comps OR CASH OUT! Every cash out is a handpay, resulting in waits of 30-50 minutes. No indication of when this will be resolved.
If you go, bring a good book.

John, Thanks for letting us know! I called around 8:30 PM on my way out the door (your post was about 6:30), and they were still down. I called again just now (11:30 PM) and they are STILL down! Now I don't know whether to go early Thursday morning like I had planned. By the way, I wonder how they managed their apple pie giveaway promotion!

The apple pie giveaway went fast...they were just giving them to
anyone who stated they had played. They ran out of pies early. Things
were OK as long as you stayed on just one machine. I played for over
six hrs. and when I hit the cash out botton it locked up and begain
the jackpot music. All for just $38.00 It only took them about 12
min. to pay me, as it was getting late and a lot of customers had
gone home. This was at 1:40 AM.
No one knowes how long this will take to fix.

Hopefully all your play gets credited to your account. In situations
like this that I've experienced in the past, more often than not the
points disappear into some black hole. This is an unusually long
outage...sounds like something major. Hope it all gets resolved
soon. Rampart is one of my preferred spots for a little action when
I'm in town.

still "kaput". That is technology in 2007. For the Rampart, an
embarrassment.
