VP players who go to the Rampart, and play progressives, may find the
tables below useful. There is a $1 progressive in the "high roller"
room as you enter the casino from the parking garage. This is a
circular bank of 9/5 DDB machines (97.9% return at reset) with 6
progressives (RF and all 5 quad hands). Although, in my experience,
the game is usually not positive, at times it is. Only the RF
progressive amount is displayed ... the 5 quad progressives are
displayed on the screen. I've never been bugged by staff when
checking the return using the tables.
All that's required is to note the level of each progressive in the
first table. Usually this takes a bit of extrapolation because the
jackpot levels never agree exactly with the table entries. Simply
add up the numbers in the leftmost column corresponding to each
progressive level. With that total, find the return in the second
table. What you hope for is a total greater than 100. The return
using the table is usually exact, or within .1% of the value using VP
software. I used BDPW to develop the table.
