Ramada

I have the basic Classic Card from the Ramada Express. At one time
they gave me their "Signature Card", but that has been downgraded. I
have some free room offers, but I am waiting until all rooms are finish.
I think I might get an older room with my "free" offer and a Classic
Card.

One thing nice about the "Signature" card is the VIP checkin. No
lines and a free bar in the private checkin area. The Ramada has
limited video poker options. A few $.50 & $1 JoB. I can never find
the $.25 JoB that are suppose to be in front of the main cashier cage.

I asked a VIP Host about the criteria for an upgraded card. I was
surprised to hear that it has little to do with "coin in". It is based
upon the amount of time and the denomination played. The host basically
said round 4 hours of play on a $1 machine. A smaller denomination
machine would be more time and a larger denomination would take less
time. I was wondering if one could go to the high limit area, and while
playing very, very slowly, get in the required play with a limited
bankroll risk. How about the $5 10/7. Taking time to look up every
hand before playing very very slow!. I know I could bankroll the $1
requirement, but playing real slow is difficult especially when you know
a game "cold" such as with JoB.

Has anyone been told similar information? I just found this
interesting and might give it a try. But then why do I need more rooms
in Laughlin?

Thanks,

Bob
