You missed the bidding war that lasted six weeks? Columbia-Sussex got Aztar
for $3 zillion. They outbid Pinnacle, who was the original buyer. Resorts
made an offer then several back and forth offers.
So C-S got the Tropicanas (LV and AC), Ramada and a couple of others in the
midwest. It will be interesting to see if they keep RE. Heck Harrahs didn't
want the Flamingo.
