While devouring my steak & eggs at the Pioneer CLub this AM I overheard
a nearby converstation that the Ramada was now in the hands of Columbia
Sussex Corp. As this was simply an overheard conversation (and only
parts did I hear) some independent confirmation is in order.

Another interesting fact is Archon, the Parent company of the Pioneer has a
Vegas Strip connection. I think they still are the owners of the Wet and Wild
property, and have been sitting on it, after turning down a couple of
proposals. Hamstockman, can you confirm this status?

So how was the Steak and Eggs? Is that the late night special that runs
until 7am? I don't think I have ordered off the menu since they remodeled a
couple years ago.

They still hit your comp account for sales tax?

Wet'n'wild in Las Vegas? I think there are several places around town
that could called that, but I know of which one you speak of. Yes, I
also believe that Archon still owns that 27 acre piece of land. They
were leasing it to the water slide people, but kicked them out and
announced they were going to build a 3,000+ room hotel/casino. It never
happened, so they are just sitting there watching the land go up in
value. When they sell, they are going to make a killing. If you want to
get in on it, the ticker symbol is ARHN.OB, and it is a lightly traded
stock, with most shares held by the insiders.
