For the first time my bonus cash is less than my cash back. When I
phoned they said it would fluctuate and they couldn't get in to it on
the phone. The average bet per hand, what games, what jackpots (which I
assume means win loss )and that it was not related to cash back points
were mentioned. It was suggested that I talk to a host the next time I
come who could explain further. Since I am not going back for three
weeks I would like to know if any one else has experienced the same
thing and has additional information.

I doubt that a host will be able to explain much. My most recent
discussions about bonus cash there have been with Tim Foster, Slot
Operations Manager, and Brian Ayling, Senior Player Services Manager.
Neither could tell me much.
It seems that bonus cash is handled by "marketing", which does not
share information with anyone. I doubt this is totally true, but that
is what they say.
My impression is that bonus cash has been reduced. When I asked Brian
if the formula had been changed, he said that it had not. At the time,
there was a problem with point accumulation on the new 3/5/10 play
machines that could have been a factor. That problem has now been
fixed. Nevertheless, my bonus cash on my most recent trip to Rama was
$92, versus the $102 I expected, based on past results. My wife's was
$111, versus $119 expected. Our earned cashbacks for the trip were $95
and $110, respectively.
I don't know why they can't be a little more straightforward. When
they give me the story about how it's not related to points, etc., they
have no answer when I ask: "Well, in that case, how does marketing know
how much I've played?"
One thing Brian did say was that: "It's 10% of your theo", meaning
theoretical loss. I suppose if other casinos can adjust their theos,
so can Rama. I just wish that they could be honest about it, and admit
that's what they've done. They did own up to doing that a year ago
June, when bonus cash droppped from about 0.45% of coin-in to 0.35%.
After my next trip there (next week), I'll see how my bonus cash works
out before attempting to pursue the matter further.
